Privacy and terms.

Last updated 6 October 2026. This notice covers the website. A repair is agreed separately, when the workshop accepts the job.

Who is responsible

VT Auto Electrical (Dunkin) is the responsible party for personal information you send about a truck enquiry, in terms of the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). The workshop is an independent auto-electrical business in South Africa. It is not part of Volvo Trucks.

Privacy requests: call 065 897 5086 or use the contact page.

What the form does

The enquiry form runs in your browser. It checks that the fields are usable, then writes the message out so you can copy it or open it in your own email app. This website does not keep a database of enquiries, and it does not ask for payment card numbers or passwords. Do not put those in the message.

If an email address is configured, the form opens a draft in your email application addressed to the workshop. Sending that draft is your action, through your mail provider. If no address is configured, the text stays on the page until you copy it. Closing the page clears it.

What we use an enquiry for

To reply, to decide whether the job is a call-out or a workshop booking, to do the repair you ask for, and to keep a record of that job. We do not sell the information, and we do not add you to a marketing list because you asked for a diagnosis.

You can ask what information the workshop holds about you, ask for a correction, or ask for it to be deleted when the law allows and when it is no longer needed for the job, a warranty on the work, or a legal duty. Send that request to the workshop.

Cookies and logs

This website does not set its own analytics or advertising cookies, and it does not embed third-party trackers. The pages are delivered through Cloudflare, and the web server may keep ordinary connection logs (such as an address and the page requested) so the site can be operated and defended. Those logs are not used to build a marketing profile.

Using the website

The pages describe the kind of work the workshop does. They are not a quotation, a diagnosis, or a promise that a particular truck can be repaired. A booking exists only when the workshop accepts it. Prices, if any, are agreed on that job, not read off this site.

To the extent the law allows, the workshop is not liable for decisions you take only from reading these pages. Nothing here limits liability that South African law does not allow a business to limit.

Volvo and other marks

Volvo, the model names FH, FM, FMX, FE and FL, and I-Shift are used so that operators can see which trucks this workshop works on. They are trademarks of their owners. VT Auto Electrical is not a dealer, is not an agent, and is not endorsed by Volvo Group or Volvo Trucks. Other product names belong to their owners.

Aftertreatment

The workshop repairs emissions equipment. It does not remove or bypass it.
