Coverage
Wherever the truck is standing.
The workshop takes booked Volvo truck work from operators near and far. Call-out is for the jobs that can be done safely on site, by arrangement.
-
Fleet yards
Depots and yards where trucks stage between loads. Booked work is done where the fleet parks, when the fault can be proved without the bench.
-
On the road
A truck that has stopped on its route. If the electrical fault can be proved safely where it stands, a call-out can beat a tow.
-
At the bench
Boards, clusters, selectors and harness sections that need the bench come into the workshop. The truck comes in when the job needs a bay.
-
Further out
Distance is a conversation, not an automatic no. Send where the truck is standing and we will tell you yes or no, and what it takes.
Call-out
How a mobile job is decided.
- 01 — Where, and is it safe A yard is a different job from a shoulder. If the truck is in a live lane, clear the people and the traffic first. We are not an emergency service.
- 02 — Model and symptom What it is, what it is doing, and whether it can move under its own power.
- 03 — Call-out, tow-in, or a booked day We say which one before anyone drives out. A selector that can be proved in the yard is not the same as a harness that needs the bench.
- 04 — The finding, then the repair The same standard as the bay. We do not start by selling a part.
The bay
The street is confirmed when the job is booked.
Send the standing point with the enquiry. If the truck is coming in, you get the bay details with the booking — not a pin dropped on a guess.
