About
Volvo truck electrical, run by Dunkin.
Harnesses, clusters, controllers and the electrics on an I-Shift. At the bench or on the truck.
The idea
One truck. One account of what failed.
Dunkin runs VT Auto Electrical for operators whose Volvo has an electrical fault and does not have time for it to be guessed at. The logo on the bench is the workshop: diagnostics and repairs.
You speak to Dunkin. Call 065 897 5086. The finding is explained before you are committed to a controller, a cluster or a harness.
How we work
Three rules.
- Prove the fault Codes, live data and an inspection. A plausible part is not the same thing as the failed part.
- Repair what failed Including the damage the failure caused. Not the components that merely sit next to it.
- Say it plainly What we found, what we did, and what is worth watching on the next load. No padded job card.
What this is not
Clear edges make a better workshop.
- Not a Volvo dealer, and not endorsed by Volvo Trucks.
- Not an engine rebuilder, and not a panel shop.
- Not a Certificate of Fitness station.
- Not a 24-hour traffic rescue. If a truck is in a live lane, make the scene safe first.
- Volvo truck electrical is the specialty. UD and Renault electrical work is taken when it is the same kind of job.
A job starts here
Four facts are enough to open it.
- The model, if you know it — FH, FM, FMX, FE, FL, or an earlier Volvo
- Where the truck is standing
- Whether it can be driven
- What it is doing, and which lamps are on
